Cropping changes the frame
A crop removes pixels from the outer area of an image. The X value moves the crop from the left edge and Y moves it down from the top. Width and height control the size of the area that remains.
Crop before resizing when the source and destination have different shapes. This preserves the subject instead of stretching the entire image into a new aspect ratio.
